A Castalia teenager has presented his prize winnings from the Winneshiek County Fair to Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum.

Trygve Lien, the son of Kelly and Sandra Lien of Castalia, restored a 1920s tricycle which he found in an antique shop.   Dayspring Questers and Oneota Questers, chapters of a national organization that honors preservation and restoration in international antiques. awarded Trygve prize money of $50 for his work.

The award came with the stipulation that Trygve donate it to an organization that is involved in preservation and history. Trygve has been a volunteer at Vesterheim for five years and felt the museum could use the donation to continue preserving history.
