Obama visit went well: Hotel Winneshiek general manager

Hotel Winneshiek General Manager Dan Dick says he can't say enough about how well he and his staff were treated by the Secret Service and the White House staff during President Obama's stop in Decorah.

Dick says the hotel was told less than a week before the fact that Obama would be staying overnight at the hotel.  Despite that, Dick calls the process "one of the smoothest, most pleasant visits I've ever been involved with."

He says the people he dealt with were very well-organized, very professional and very engaging.

Dick says the staff at Hotel Winneshiek stepped up and took care of all its guests.  "This is what we do," he says.
