first on decorahnews.com: President Obama to visit Decorah on Monday evening

Still no confirmation from the White House, but local Decorah officials have been told President Barack Obama will visit Decorah next Monday.

The President's plane, Air Force One, will arrive at Minneapolis Airport at 10:35 a.m. Monday.  The president will then head to Cannon Falls, where a Town Hall will be held at 11:45 a.m. Monday at Lower Hannah's Bend Park.

The president will then head to Decorah, where he will speak at Seed Savers Exchange at 5:25 p.m.  Obama will then stay overnight in Decorah, heading to Peosta on Tuesday for a rural economic development conference at NICC.  He will head to Western Illinois on Wednesday before heading to Chicago.
