Names of Decorah City Manager semifinalists have been announced

City of Decorah officials have released the names of the four candidates for City Manager who will be interviewed on Thursday and Friday.

They are Chad Bird, the city administrator in Adel; Mark Jackson, the city administrator in Story City; Andrew Lent, the city coordinator in Vinton; and Mike Roberston, the former city administrator of Otsego, Minnesota.

All four candidates will meet with City of Decorah department heads on Thursday, then will sit down for formal interviews on Friday.

Decorah City Administrator Jerry Freund is retiring in September after 18 years in the position.
