Iowa Department of Agriculture spokesperson Dustin Vandehof says it will probably be another week or two before the department makes a formal determination regarding a complaint regarding the recent lawn chemical application at Luther College.
However, Vandehof says results have come in from samples collected by pesticide investigator Steve Van Helten near the Luther Pond--and those samples did not show any high levels of pesticide.
At this point the results from samples taken near Valders Hall of Science are still being compiled. As soon as that happens, a final determination regarding the complaint will be sent to the applicator and copied to the complainant.
