City Council meets Monday night

The Decorah City Council on Monday night will discuss the purchase of some property near Will Baker Park for park purposes.  The city council meets at 7:30 p.m. at Decorah City Hall.
 
Other items on Monday's agenda include the final readings of the proposed city ward redistricting plan and an ordinance setting up a revitalization area in the southwest part of the city.  City council members will also discuss a resolution that encourages the state legislature to increase road use taxes and will review an agreement with the Decorah School District involving the sharing of costs for the new tennis courts.
