Decorah is hosting Iowa DARE Officer's training conference

Iowa DARE Officer's training conference is currently being hosted in Decorah. The conference kicks off Sunday, July 31st, 2011 going until Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011.
The awards luncheon will include presentation of the State DARE Officer's Teacher of the Year, DARE Officer of the Year and Iowa DARE Students essay of the year awards. The awards luncheon will be at Luther College's Peace Dinning Room Monday at 11.30 a.m.
In other DARE news, at the DARE America International Training Conference in Nashville, TN an Iowa Principal received the national educator of the yearaward. He will be recognized at this same luncheon.
