Five candidates have been invited to personal interviews for the Decorah City Manager job

Invitations have been extended to five candidates to come to Decorah on August 4th and 5th for personal interviews for the job of Decorah City Manager.

Decorah Mayor Don Arendt says the five candidates will meet with city department heads on the first day of their two-day visits.  The official interviews with all five candidates will be done on Friday, the second day of their visits.

City Manager Jerry Freund is retiring on September 9th.  City council members are trying to select a new city manager before that time.
