Prayer service scheduled for former Luther student who died in Kenya

A prayer service in remembrance of a 2010 Luther College graduate will be held at 11:00 Thursday morning in the Main Hall of the Luther Center for Faith and Life.

25-year-old Sylvia Gift Nabukeera died June 24th in Nairobi, Kenya. An autopsy is pending.  The investigation into the cause of her death will continue.  Nairobi police believe she died June 24th.  The Rev. Peter Ndungu, director of Friends of Ngong Road in Nairobi, identified Sylvia's body at a morgue.

The memorial service at Luther is in conjunction with the scheduled funeral service for Sylvia on Thursday in her home country of Uganda.
