NICC Calmar will be offering a final 2011 Motorcycle Rider Education Course.
The Basic Rider Course will be taught August 5th, 6th and 7th at the Calmar campus. It fulfills the mandatory requirements of motorcycle driver education for those under the age of 18. Those students who are under 18 must be at least 15 years old and possess an instruction permit valid for motorcycle or automobile.
The weekend course is available to anyone wishing to learn or improve proper motorcycle riding skills in a safe, controlled environment. Classroom size is limited to 12 students, with a maximum driving range class size of 6, to allow for personal instruction. The course includes 15 total hours of classroom and bike time. Motorcycles and helmets are provided.
