Search for new Decorah City Manager is getting serious

Decorah City Council members will gather next Monday, July 25th at 5:30 p.m. to review all the applications that have been submitted for the job of Decorah City Manager.

After Monday's meeting, the list of potential new managers will be narrowed to the top three or four candidates.  Those candidates then would be interviewed on August 4th and 5th.

City officials hope to have selected a new City Manager before the September retirement of City Administrator Jerry Freund.
