The Board of Directors of Upper Explorerland Regional Planning Commission has a new member.
Decorah resident Nina Taylor has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the board that was created by the death of Barb Ettleson. Taylor was one of three applicants for a spot on the board, along with Mike Klimesh and Keith Bruening. Supervisors praised all three candidates as being highly qualified, but voted for Taylor because they wanted to keep a gender balance of UERPC Board members.
