Four persons honored with Fair Board's "Distinguished Service Award"

For the first time ever, the Winneshiek County Fair Board of Directors has officially recognized the efforts of long-time volunteers by awarding "Distinguished Service Awards."

The awards were presented Tuesday night to Verne and Kay Spilde, to Duane "Dewey" Bergan and posthumously to longtime Fair volunteer E.J. Weigel.
