North Winneshiek School Board gets ready for the new school year

It's July, but the North Winneshiek School Board's thoughts are already turning towards September.

The board has approved a milk bid from Martin Brothers from Cedar Falls; a bread bid from Sara Lee from LaCrosse, Wisconsin; an LP Gas bid from AgVantage from Waverly; a gasoline bid from Hovden Oil from Ridgeway; and diesel fuel and heating fuel bids from Hovey Oil from Harmony, Minnesota.

The school board also approved the staff and student handbooks for the 2011-2012 school year and accepted a bid from Employers Mutual Insurance Company as the district's property and casualty insurance carrier for the 2011-2012 school year..
