Winneshiek Med Center will provide internet access

Starting next week, patients and visitors to Winneshiek Medical Center will have wireless access to the Internet.

Hospital officials say the Wi-Fi network will go into operation, giving the public a way to connect to the Internet while at Winneshiek Medical Center.  Until now the Internet access at the hospital has been limited to staff members because of security concerns.  Hospital workers had to construct a separate network for patients and visitors so that they would not have access to medical records or any other sensitive information.
