City of Decorah officials want to upgrade the traffic signals at College Drive and Fifth Avenue.
The plans call for not allowing right turns from Fifth Avenue onto College Drive, but changing the timing of the lights so Fifth Avenue traffic doesn't have to wait as long.
The project carries an estimated price tag of $2,000 to $4,000. City workers will do a traffic count at the intersection in hopes of qualifying for outside funding.
The project will come up for a vote at the next Decorah City Council meeting.
