When National Geographic Magazine wanted to do an article on the threats posed by our reliance on just a few varieties of vegetable seeds, they knew where to go--to Decorah.
The magazine has just released an article profiling Seed Savers Exchange. The article, accessible at http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2011/07/food-ark/siebert-text, says of Seed Savers "The farm grows a glorious profusion of select vegetables, herbs, and flowers around an old red barn that is covered in Grandpa Ott's stunningly deep purple morning glory blossoms."
