The former Spillville Mill is no more.
Crews on Tuesday completed the demolition of the building. The building was first built in 1865. It was originally called "Big Stone Mills."
Composer Antonin Dvorak visited the building during his stay in Spillville during the summer of 1893.
In 1911 two turbines were added to the structure.
Spillville officials have been making plans to reuse the materials from the mill on projects such as a new entrance sign for Spillville. The property on which the mill sat may become a new city park in Spillville.
