Four NICC students from Winneshiek County have been honored by the National Leadership Conference of Business Professionals of America.
Decorah resident Kevin Lundt took first place in Merit Scholar competition; first place in federal income tax accounting; third place in insurance concepts; honorable mention in banking and finance; and participated in payroll accounting.
Spillville resident Joseph Loesch took second place in insurance concepts and participated in human resource management.
Decorah resident Kelsey Bruvold took third place in prepared speech; honorable mention in parliamentary procedures concepts; honorable mention in small business management team and participated in fundamental accounting.
Fort Atkinson resident Cyndi Myers participated in keyboarding production.
Approximately 5,500 students and advisors from throughout the U.S. participated in BPA's 45th National Leadership Conference earlier this month in Washington, D.C.
