City council agrees to spend an extra $29,000 on the Trout Run Trail

With another portion of Trout Run Trail about to open--the portion through a new cut through the rocks along Highway 52--City of Decorah officials are taking steps to make sure the public stays off the rocks on the side of the trail.

The Decorah City Cuncil has approved spending an additional $29,543.  The money will pay for putting up extra fencing along the Trout Run Trail through The Cut to keep the public off the rocks.
