Legion Auxiliary begins a new fund drive for yellow ribbons

The American Legion Auxiliary #163 in Decorah is holding a fund drive to raise money to replace the yellow ribbons that were put up in Decorah prior to the deployment of the 322nd Engineer Battalion to Afghanistan.

Auxiliary President Ranell Bolson says the current ribbons have faded, but the organization doesn't yet have enough money to buy new ribbons.  Donations can be made to "American Legion Auxiliary #163" and mailed to Bolson at 2610 143rd Avenue in Decorah.  Collection buckets are also being set up at Margaret's Clothing and at other locations in downtown Decorah.
