Decorah Community School District Foundation awards $62,337 in scholarships

107 graduating seniors at Decorah High School on Wednesday night received scholarships from the Decorah Community School District Foundation.
A total of $80,000 in scholarship money is being awarded this year--$62,336.80 to Class of 2011 graduates and $18,000 in scholarships to members of previous graduating classes.
The scholarship program is 15 years old. In the first year of the program, a total of five scholarships were awarded.
