11-year-old Jackson Township boy injured in ATV accident

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department says 11-year-old Josh Vsetecka of Fort Atkinson was injured Sunday night around 9:00 when the Polaris Ranger he was driving hit a deer and rolled into the ditch.

Josh was thrown from the vehicle, sustaining injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to Winneshiek Medical Center and then airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, where officials say his injuries are not life-threatening.
