Decorah Parks and Recreation Department C.R.E.W Director Andy Nimrod is thanking the volunteers for again helping to make the Decorah High School's Post Prom observance a success.

This year the post prom party was held at Marty's in the Luther College Student Union.  It was the 28th consecutive year that C.R.E.W. has provided a post prom party in a safe, substance free environment for Decorah High School students following the Grand March and dance.

245 kids came and enjoyed a hypnotist show, many activities, good food, and many quality prizes.  Says Nimrod, "Thanks to generous donations from local businesses and individuals, all of this was free to the students."

C.R.E.W. is made up of adult volunteers.  Nimrod says if you are interested in helping to provide activities for local youth, please contact him at the Decorah Parks and Recreation office, 382-4158.
