Ask Mr. Answer Person: "When will American flags be put up on Water Street in Decorah this spring?"

Sunday, May 8th, is Victory in Europe Day, so American flags will be put out on Monday along Water Street.

In fact, the U.S. flag will be flown five times in the next six weeks.  In addition to flying for V-E Day, the flag will be flown on Syttende Mai on Tuesday, May 17th; on Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 21st; on Memorial Day on May 30th and on Flag Day on Tuesday, June 14th.
