Two car accident causes $1,800 in damages

Decorah Police say two cars collided at Mill Street and Franklin Street Thursday evening.

46-year-old Anne Maurland of Decorah was ticketed for failure to yield after striking a car driven by 50-year-old Carl King of Decorah.  Maurland's car suffered $800 in damages, while King's car had $1,000 in damages.

A passenger in King's car, Natalie King of Decorah, was taken to the Winneshiek Medical Center by ambulance following the accident.
