Paving begins on another segment of Trout Run Trail

Paving has begun on another segment of the Trout Run Trail.

Crews were at work on Thursday paving the trail near The Cut, heading south from The Cut to Highway 9.  The concrete has been laid, but the shoulder needs to be completed and other work must be done over the next two weeks.  The trail should be open to travel in mid-May.

Meanwhile, work on other segments of the trail will be done this summer.  Trout Run Trail organizers expect everything but the bridge over Highway 9 to be completed by this fall.
