Survey shows strong opposition to boulevard gardens

A survey by decorahnews.com shows the majority of our readers are opposed to an ordinance legalizing gardens in City of Decorah boulevards.

374 readers completed the survey.  When asked "What do you think of the idea to allow property owners to use their boulevards for gardens?" 228 of the readers--or 61 percent--said they "hated the idea."  Another 86 readers--or 23 percent--said they "loved the idea."  The final 60 readers--or 16 percent--said they saw good points and bad points to the idea.
