Five Decorah students attend Young Writers Conference

Five Decorah students have gotten a chance to attend a Young Writers' Conference.

Decorah Middle School fifth graders Victoria Miller and Carina Yee, fourth graders Ben Johnson and Abby Pedlar and third grader Aidan Hunter, all from Carrie Lee Elementary, were selected by their teachers to participate in the conference in Elkader.

The Decorah children worked cooperatively with students from other districts to create pieces of writing and finished with independent writing.
