Decorah will be featured on "Iowa's Simple Pleasures" Thursday

Iowa Public Television on Thursday will show the first full airing of a story about Decorah and the Trout Run Trail during the program "Iowa's Simple Pleasures."

The program will be shown at 8:00 p.m. Thursday and at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, then will continue to be replayed numerous times over the summer and will also be archived on the IPTV's website for on-demand viewing, www.iptv.org/simplepleasures

An IPTV film crew spent an entire day in Decorah last November, visiting the Trout Run Trail, the unique artwork along the trail and the mountain biking systems near Dunning Springs, Ice Cave and Palisades Park.  The IPTV crew interview Decorah residents John Hjelle and mountain biking guru Richard 'Deke' Gosen.
