Northeast Iowa Community College's Calmar campus is offering continuing education for real estate agents in May.
The four courses at NICC cover marketing analysis of real estate properties, ethics, state and federal real estate law, and math as relevant to real estate practice being offered.
"Revealing Property Values" will run from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3rd. This course is designed to guide the student through the fundamental steps to producing a professional market analysis.
"Ethics and Complaints: They Just Don't Mix!" will run from 8 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, May 4th. The course is designed to familiarize students with the forms, Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® and the applicable Iowa laws and rules associated with the complaint and grievance process.
"State and Federal Laws Affecting Iowa Practice" teaches the state and federal laws that affect the daily practice of real estate. This course will be held on Friday, May 13th.
On Saturday, May 14th, NICC will offer a course that explores real estate math and the role math plays in almost every transaction. "By the Numbers" is a 3-Hour Elective course.
