Dr. David Gehling appointed to Winneshiek Medical Center Board of Trustees

Decorah chiropractor Dr. David Gehling has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Winneshiek Medical Center.

The action was taken Monday afternoon by the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors, which interviewed three candidates for the board--Gehling, David Kratz and Kristen Bigler.

Gehling is a 1990 Luther College graduate who then attended the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport.  He has worked as a chiropractor in Decorah since June of 1995, including time spent at Oneota Physical Therapy and time at Gundersen Clinic-Decorah.

Gehling will serve the remainder of the term of Don Nelson, whose seat will come up for election in November of 2012.
