Police looking for information about dog bite

Decorah Police are asking for the public's help in getting more information about a dog bite on Friday.

Around 10:15 Friday morning a woman was running on College Drive between the bridge and the Whippy Dip when she was bitten by a smaller black Terrier dog with a collar with a red tag.  The dog was being walked by three women, possibly in their 50s.

The dog owner talked with the runner, but no names were exchanged.

Police are asking the dog owner or anyone else with information about the incident to contact the police department at (563) 382-3667 for confirmation of current vaccinations
