Gunner Rollins, a Luther College first-year student from Decorah, has won the Mabe's Luther College Sesquicentennial Pizza Contest.

Rollins' winning entry, "Chicken Cordon Luther Blue," will be served at Mabe's Pizza for the Luther College Sesquicentennial year.  The contest, launched in December, asked Luther students to come up with a name and recipe for Luther's "official" Sesquicentennial pizza.  Rollins' winning entry, Chicken Cordon Luther Blue, was selected from more than 100 applicants. Ingredients include breaded chicken, ham, blue cheese topping, and a mix of blended cheeses.

The contest was conducted by Luther's Student Activities Council Special Events committee.  All entries were voted on by the SAC Special Events committee and executive board.  The favorite entries were then given to Mabe's Pizza owner Steve White for taste-testing.  White picked the winning entry.
