The Winneshiek County Chapter of the American Cancer Society is celebrating National Volunteer Week this week.
In Winneshiek County, hundreds of volunteers give their time and talent to fight back against cancer--part of the nationwide pool of over three million volunteers who have helped make a difference for people facing cancer.
The Winneshiek County Chapter of the American Cancer Society holds a number of programs, including the yearly Relay For Life, which raises money for cancer research, celebrates the lives of those touched by cancer and remembers loved ones lost to cancer.
