Decorah man dies in ATV accident

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department says a Decorah man has died in an all terrain vehicle accident in rural Decorah.
Sheriff's deputies say 79-year-old William "Dave" Baker was operating an ATV in a wooded area of his property at 1593 Salem Lane Road on Tuesday. The ATV rolled over, pinning Baker underneath. He died from injuries suffered in the accident.
Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies were assisted by the Decorah Fire Department, the Decorah Fire Search and Rescue Unit, the Winneshiek Medical Center Ambulance and Winneshiek County First Responders.
