"Mother Goose" visits North Winneshiek School

"Mother Goose" stopped in at the North Winneshiek Elementary School recently.

Ms. Goose, a.k.a. Faith Humphrey, was visiting her cousin Gwen Jorgenson, a teacher aide at North Winneshiek.  She brought many fun games, fingerplays, props and costumes for the pre-school through second graders to try. Her message combines the importance of the Golden Rule with age-old nursery rhymes.
 
Humphrey has recently begun her business "Meet Mother Goose."  Aimed at beginning readers, the program combines fun and learning.  She has a website, http://MeetMotherGoose.com, where teachers and students can comment on her North Winneshiek presentation or find out more information about her presentations.
