Spring Getaway termed a success

A group of "Luther Moms" from the Twin Cities had fun

The "Spring Getaway" weekend in Decorah--a replacement for the former Women's Weekend Out--is being called a success.

Winneshiek County Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Brenda Balk says downtown was buzzing with people, restaurants were full, the Fashion Show Brunch was sold out, Church Basement Ladies shows were both sold out and retailers said they were happy.

WCCVB will be e-mailing surveys to participants who pre-registered as well as to event sponsors in an effort to get more feedback.
