Decorah City Council approves Winneshiek County multi-hazard mitigation plan

The Decorah City council has given its approval to a multi-hazard mitigation plan drawn up for Winneshiek County.

Upper Explorerland Regional Planning commission has been preparing hazard mitigation plans for several jurisdictions in a five county region of Northeast Iowa.  UERPC is currently engaged in the process to produce countywide plans within the region for all five counties.
