Garden plots offered for rent by City

The City of Decorah will again offer gardening space.  The community gardens are located across the dike on 2nd Street.  Garden plots are 20'x 20' (400 sq. ft.) and rent is $25 per plot.  Water and mulch are included in the rental price. Rental requests will be taken starting April 1 at the Park-Rec. Office.  A rental agreement must be signed and payment made when reserving your plot.  In addition to the $25 payment, all renters must pay a $20 clean-up deposit.  The clean-up deposit will be returned in the fall if your plot is cleaned satisfactorily.  If paying by check for both plot fee and clean-up fee, write 2 separate checks.
