Decorah Police say a Cresco man struck the car of a Decorah man Monday morning because he backed up on Trout Run Road. 48-year-old Daniel Bohr noticed that an item fell out of his pickup bed onto Trout Run Road after he pulled out of the Spahn and Rose parking lot. Bohr backed up his truck on the road to retrieve the item, but backed into a car driven by Richard Michel of Decorah as it was leaving the Norby Farm Fleet parking lot. The accident caused $2,900 in damages. Neither driver was ticketed.
