Elected officials in Winneshiek County will be getting pay raises that are the same percentage as raises for members of the county's three unions.

The county board on Monday reduced the recommendations of the County Compensation Board, instead approving a 1.75 percent pay raise for all elected officials.

That remains Sheriff Lee Bohr will be paid $62,625 next year; County Attorney Andy Van Der Maaten will received $55,762; County Treasurer Wayne Walter will be paid $48.188; County Auditor Ben Steines will receive $47,818 and County Recorder Theresa Bockman will receive $46,951.

The five members of the county board will also be getting pay raises.  County Board Chairman Les Askelson will receive $27,774 next year, while the other four supervisors will receive $27,074.
