The 2011 Winneshiek County Fair will feature some new faces for its grandstand entertainment--and one returning favorite. Fair officials announced the entertainment schedule Monday.
The Bill Riley Talent Show on Tuesday night will replace last year's talent show, but will also promise to send people to the Iowa State Fair's talent show.
Michael Martin Murphy, "America's No. 1 selling cowboy music singer," will return to the Winneshiek County Fair Wednesday night. Murphy, who now lives in Western Wisconsin, was a crowd favorite during his last appearance at the fair.
The Upper Iowa Speedway stock car races return on Thursday night.
A new event, the Tri-State Truck and Tractor Pull, will be held Friday night, while another new event, CC Bull Riding and Barrel Racing, will be held on Saturday night. The two events replace last year's PRCA Rodeo.
The Winneshiek County Fair will be selling buttons for $15 that will allow the wearer to attend all five nights of grandstand entertainment.
