Three Decorah HS students invited to All-State Individual Speech

Three Decorah High School students have received invitations to the Iowa High School Speech Association's Individual All-State Festival March 28th on the University of Northern Iowa campus.

Pearl Faldet and Erica Bjelland have received invitations for their performances in the storytelling category, while Liv Ulring has been invited to All-State in the After Dinner Speaking category.

The three were part of a group of 27 Decorah High School students who participated in the regional individual speech contest at Starmont High School over the weekend.  Out of Decorah High School's 38 performances, 27 received Division I ratings.  17 of those 27 performances received straight Division I's.
