Drunk driving arrest in Decorah leads to loss of job of Linn County sheriff's deputy

The Linn County Civil Service Commission has upheld the firing of a Linn County sheriff's deputy after his arrest in Decorah for drunken driving.

The Cedar Rapids Gazette says the Linn County Civil Service Commission ruled unanimously that Sheriff Brian Gardner had just cause for firing Travis Klima.  The 30-year-old Klima had pleaded guilty to drunken driving after his arrest in Decorah on October 23rd of last year.
