The bald eagle couple whose nest is near the Decorah Fish Hatchery now have three eggs in their nest.
The third egg was laid recently, continuing the trend in recent years for the bald eagle couple to lay three eggs instead of two.
The first egg was laid on Wednesday, February 23rd and the second egg last week. The three eggs take 40 days apiece to hatch, meaning the first eaglet should arrive during the first week in April.
