Karla & Carlton ask Mr. Answer Person: "Could you please tell us why the trees were taken out between the tennis courts and the softball diamond by John Cline?

Mr. Answer Person says: City crews cut down the arbor vitae near the tennis courts in preparation for the work to build new tennis courts.  Decorah Park-Rec and Decorah School District officials will sit down in May to hammer out final plans for the courts.  Park-Rec Director Rick Edwards says he's hoping the construction of new tennis courts will begin "later this spring."
