Two arrested on meth charges

Decorah police arrested two people Friday after allegedly discovering a meth lab in a their home.

35-year-old Valerie Anne Burke and 36-year-old Bruce Divers Jr. of Decorah were arrested for possession of meth, conspiracy to manufacture meth and possession of pseudoephedrine.  Police say other charges may be filed.

Decorah Police searched the home at 804 Sumner Street around 7:30 p.m. Friday.  They allegedly discovered a meth lab inside.  Decorah Police were assisted by the Decorah Fire Department, Winneshiek County Medical Center paramedics, the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office and Emergency Management.
