Don Wurtzel hired as Aase Haugen Homes Director of Development

Aase Haugen Homes has announced the hiring of Don Wurtzel as Director of Development, a new position for the organization. He will be responsible for all fund-raising and annual development functions.

"We are lucky to have someone of Don's background and expertise come on board," said Sue Bjelland, Executive Director of Aase Haugen Homes. "With Don's experience and guidance, we hope to fund our plans for the future of Aase Haugen Homes."

Don was Director of Development for Winneshiek Medical Center for over six years, and before that Executive Director for Winneshiek County Development. Don earned his B.A. from Luther College in Business Administration.

"I am excited to be a part of Aase Haugen Homes as the Director of Development," says Don, adding "I know first hand what Aase Haugen Homes can do for people, both through family experiences and as a past member of the AHH board of directors. I believe in the Aase Haugen Homes mission and I know I can help to support it as Director of Development."
