Duane Bruening donates map to Decorah Library

Duane Bruening has donated a 1905 map of Decorah to the Decorah Public Library.

Bruening purchased the map, created by Anderson & Goodwin Company of Davenport, Iowa, at an auction over thirty years ago. Decorah Public Library Director Lorraine Borowski says the library will have the map framed and displayed prominently in the library building for all to enjoy.
